- Nicolette is here! Who's Nicolette? They're saying she’s what is missing on the Hip Hop scene. Young but sassy, positive and fun is what she is conveying with danceable, inspirational and just plan spitting and flowin on her tracks. Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Nicolette picked up a microphone at the age of 4 and has not put it down since. Belonging to a group called The Harlem Sunshine Girls, which instilled strong work ethics and promoted anti-drug, and pro-education messages, groomed her into the prodigy that she is today. As the lead lyricist, they performed in countless open mic events, school functions and talent showcases such as The Apollo Theater, which they won three consecutive times. All the while receiving invitations to perform for and work with celebrities, politicians and recording artists, such as Mya, Anita Baker, and C. Virginia Fields. Nicolette is here!! Now signed with LLcoolj and made a feature apperance on his exit13 album she's ready to take on the world
